Product Description
This is an HO Scale model of a coke container load designed to fit into a gondola. Coke is a byproduct of coal burning. This was used in the steel making process and transported in coke containers that could be easily placed into and pulled out of gondolas. The C&EI, Chicago and Eastern Illinios Railroad, had these containers to cary coke to various places.
