Product Description

I recently discovered that in Season 1 of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends some of the express coaches had a lowered buffer set on one side of the chassis. To that end, I have made this product so that if you own one of my S1 Gordon Maunsell coaches, you can switch out the chassis/underframe bundeled with that coach with this underframe. In order for the bogies to attach to the chassis, you will need to buy a size #4 screw with the associated Hex nut. The hex nut will fit in the hex shaped hole on the underside of the chassis, and will require glue to stay in place. The screw will then go through the hole in the bogie and screw into the hex nut attached to the chassis. The Bachmann iteration of the model features the international Hook & Loop coupling system with hooks included. The Chain iteration of the model does not feature the international Hook and Loop coupling system, instead being intended for the more realistic 3 chain and hook system. Beyond the screws and nuts, you will also need to provide a set of two Hornby 14.1mm or HO scale 38" wheels for each bogie in order for the model to run.
