Nested Tetrahedrons Sculpture

This is a cute little sculpture, the inner tetrahedron is the smallest practical size. Each size increase is as small as possible. I designed this using Sketchup, while I did not time the design process it took many hours. I did this mostly as a learning experience. I should be able to make similar designs faster as a result of the practice I got creating this.

I chose this design because I love repeating patterns and I like triangles. I also like hexagons and fractals. So you can expect more models similar to this.
