The Ptarmigan Puzzle is a two layer jigsaw puzzle but with an extra twist.
Each piece in one layer is linked to a piece in the other layer but allowing the two halves to be rotated freely.
The Ptarmigan Puzzle consists of 24 linked pairs of pieces, and a base board.
The pieces are split into 4 sets of 6 to allow customization of the finishing of each set.
The complete sets below use a different colour for each set.
The base board is designed to add an extra challenge to the puzzle.
The solved puzzle is 160 x 160 x 8.5 mm.
