Little Joe Kit - Early Version
SteamMonster @dmars67 For attaching the extra "Free Roller" driver I used a fast dry epoxy, but still had enough time to make sure it was even and level.
SteamMonster @AlwaysSolutions Thanks -----------------------
SteamMonster Finished Shapeways "Little Joe" EF4 leading Overland brass EF5 "Little Joe"
SteamMonster EF4 Little Joe, Milwaukee Road early version. Paint applied.
NEP501 N scale EP-5 loco - as built
SteamMonster For correct McGinnis livery decals, I used Microscale sets #60-1199 & #60-937. As far as getting a Dapol Class 58 engine can only be found on Ebay and all are shipped from Great Britain. I'm just finishing my Dapol Class 58 chassis to fit the EP-5 shell. I already painted my EP-5 in the McGinnis livery as shown. (older pictures, before finished).
SteamMonster Painted and decaled. Ready for brass grab irons, hand rail and ladders. And chassis.

N Scale Propane Turbine locomotive
SteamMonster I'm using the Con-Cor U-50 chassis, some careful milling on the sides and end will need to be done for snug fit of body. Mill down slowly and check often so not too much will be taken off. This Propane Turbine also used a custom made pressurized tender from a 17,000 gal tanker. For all detail on both builds I did a search for HO brass Propane Turbines. There will be every picture you will need to build it exact as per prototype. This is just one picture among many that you will be able to get all detail. Actually, this will be a fairly easy build on both, just will take some time mainly on the tanker tender build.
GN W-1 Heavy Electric Great Northern
SteamMonster I filmed a short run by video of my W1, now to attempt to get it to you.
SteamMonster With a bit of foam cutting, the W-1 fits nice & snug in the box where the Baldwin Centipede was.
SteamMonster Picture with her passenger consist. A buddy will be making a video for me eventually.
SteamMonster @AlwaysSolutions Thanks for nice remarks. It was fun building, and actually not too hard to build once I figured it out. I'm still working on the picture album as well as what I did step by step. Once I complete it I will send it to you to publish.
SteamMonster Final pictures of conversion. All grab irons, hand rails & ladders installed today, finished. Now to put her to work pulling 14 passenger cars.
SteamMonster All decals applied, horns, window glass & wipers. Now to place all grab irons & ladders.
NScale EF4 Little Joe E78 (Rebuilt) Milwaukee
SteamMonster Added the Pantograph voltage warning sign's on top above each windshield.
SteamMonster Shapeways rebuilt E-79 "little Joe" finished. On converted Kato GG-1chassis.
SteamMonster @AlwaysSolutions Thanks again. On the E78 Little Joe rebuild I will also be taking step by step pictures of the conversion using the Kato GG1 chassis. On my EF4 Little Joe the same steps will be taken. When the time comes I will also send you pictures and instructions on the chassis conversion.
SteamMonster EF4 Little Joe, E78 rebuild, paint applied.

VGN EL-2B Virginian
SteamMonster After finishing up a couple other engine projects I'm working on. I will start building both chassis for the VGN EL-2B Virginian with two motors each.
SteamMonster @AlwaysSolutions On the nose logo & wings decals. I had to cut loose the wings, apply the center logo first, then add the wings. As off the decal sheet, the wings on both sides slopes down, should be straight align with top and bottom stripes.
SteamMonster @AlwaysSolutions@AlwaysSolutions Thanks -----------
SteamMonster For smaller stripes around bottom I used Microscale set # 60-138, KCS Cab Diesels (1939-1966) Headlights are painted.
SteamMonster Painted & decaled, road numbers 125 & 126
SteamMonster This is the decal set posted by wsmvgn.

N Krauss Maffei
SteamMonster @Roy_Stevens Thanks. The mirrors were one thing I noticed in most of their pictures. Must have been a as built add on, other later pictures their not there.
SteamMonster Krauss Maffei's finished.
SteamMonster Have both mine painted & decaled. Broke off all the stirrups and will replace with brass ones as well as all the front grab irons and hand rails, applying now. For window glass on all my conversions I use Micro Kristal Klear.
