Getting back to the first question posed… I am curious about the design guidelines being met for stainless steel as well. They look really thin. Good designs though. I’m always wary about designing something like this because of rejections… now I’m going to have to re-think.
With stainless steel there can be a grey area between design rules and guidelines, given the right geometry we can sometimes print details smaller than 3mm.
It is not the details of the clips that are less than 3mm but the actual structure. Can you guarantee that if it prints once it will be printed repeatably? Otherwise this guy’s shop is in trouble.
I’m inclined to agree, although he has had a lot printed. I’m positive I’ve had models with larger/thicker details than these rejected in s/steel. I will have to try my own.
