Products to make modeling in HOn3 just a tad bit easier...
About
I've been modeling in HOn3 for 20 years and have found that despite recent entries in the R-T-R market, this is still a builder's scale.  I am now trying my hand at 3-D printing in hopes of making a few things for myself that I can also make available to others.  I'm new at this - so I welcome questions and feedback. BTW - the above image is of a 3d printed flat car!

I used to have plenty of time for modeling - sitting in front of the TV watching football on weekends, or just in the workshop listening to music.  Then came marriage and twins, and I have lost my time and modeling space.  Drawing things on the computer and having them 3d printed has kept me in the hobby.  It's easy to work on for 10 minutes here or there, sent it off to print, open the box, add a few details, and paint.  It's a new challenge that I very much enjoy.  For the most part, I brush paint everything you see with those buck-a-bottle craft paints from Walmart.  Sometimes I spray with sandable auto primer from a rattle can first.  The detail plastic is a little brittle compared to styrene - but it is fine with moderate handling.  FIr detail plastic I glue mostly with CA (superglue).   The nylon plastics work well with the JB Weld plastic epoxy.

If you have printed one of my items and have finished it and put it to use - I'd love to hear how it worked out!  You can send a message either here or post to my facebook page: facebook.com/nghoghead.
