Engineered Models

A retired aerospace engineer, l have used modeling software and 3D printing thoughout my professional career.  I also am a life long naval history buff and model builder.  I recently bought Avalanche Press's Bomb Alley wargame and started using Figurehead 1:6000 scale warships as game tokens.  I decided to design and 3D print models of rare subjects to supplement my collection.  3D printing allows me to provide greater detail than Figurehead without any casting flaws or metal toxicity.  I create and edit all my models with the 3D modeling software Blender using historical plans or photos as references.
