This is based on actual ladder specifications, with a few details beefed up for printability.  Depending on print quality, a light sanding and priming of some parts can help the finish.  If you are looking for a soft wood finish, consider using Daniel Smith Watercolor Ground (diluted) as a primer.  It takes washes beautifully.
