Buffer guides for upgrading the plastic kits of Cambrian Railways wagons, as sold by Cambrian Models, to sprung buffers. The guides should be used with Gibson or MJT heads and springs. The printed parts include the wooden pads sometimes fitted to shorten the unsupported length of the buffer rams. The distance from the buffer face to the back of the pad should be 18 inches and the length of the guide, including the pad, is 13 inches.These guides are based on a drawing of a wagon by Ken Werrett, kindly supplied by Barry at Cambrian Models.
