Product Description
The Shorty Turntable can be operated  manually or electronically by adding a 28BYJ-48 stepper motor. The stepper motor is installed in the base with two, 1/4" long, #6 sheet metal screws.

A Shorty turntable is comprised of a 55mm Turntable Base and a 55mm Turntable Bridge. The entrances are sized for 25mm long Rokuhan R-030 straight track. You have to trim the roadbeds on adjacent entrance tracks. I sugest using a Rokuhan Track Miter Box and a hobby saw.

The big hole in the middle accepts a flanged, 5mm ID, 11mm OD, 4mm tall ball bearing that keeps the bridge centered.  The bearing is a model MF115ZZ, Miniature Flanged Ball Bearing 5x11x4mm from Bearings Direct. The shallow holes accept  magnets to create magnetic detents to align the bridge with the each entrance. The magnets are model D210, 1/8" diameter, 1/32" thick axial rare earth magnets from K & J Magnetics.
