NSW Station Seat V2

Product Description
This style of seating was very common across NSW from about 1993 to 2015. The seating was introduced as part of the CountryLink refurbishment going on in stations statewide. The regional seats had the names of their stations ingraved into the large board in white. CityRail also adopted the same style of seating and it was widley used until 2014 when they were replaced as part of the Sydney Trains referb.

Today, some of these seats remain in places like Wagga Wagga, not yet reached by the NSW TrainLink referbs. Other locations, like the entire NSW North Coast Line (with the exception of the Murwillumbah Branch) have had all these seats removed and replaced with new, wooden and steel seating.

This model does not print in colour. Colour must be painted on. The seat itself is dark blue. If you are modelling the CountryLink era from 1990 - 2005, the footings will be light blue. For those modelling the CountryLink era 2005 - 2015, the footings will be turquoise. For those modelling the CityRail era, the seats are generally completley dark blue (with the exception of some stations that had seats a different colour, e.g. red

The font used for the station name (CountryLink) is Times New Roman. Decals are to be applied with waterslide decal paper.
