How to put a model render image as a default picture?
It's not a material and only material renders can be default pics?
Only way to do that is to cheat and place program render as some SW material render. Or there are some trick to do that normally?

I'm asking, because default images are from models which are prepeared for printing, so disassembled/sprued/compact etc., so visitor can't recongnize from picture, what model represents

Should be the same as with photographs of the actual printed item - you just need to tag them with the default material for that model. (And if you choose "render" instead of "photo" for the "type" there is no reason to assume cheating - the site will then add the usual "digital preview not a photo" note overlayed)

Also think that the default image handling is not clear:
    - having an own image placed as first image (marked with Multiple Materials or no material) it seems to be used as default image when opening the product side
    - but on the shop side the default render is shown, which only can be overwritten if the image is marked with the default material

To my understanding an image marked with multiple options shown placed as first image or placed before the render of the default material should also be used on the shops entry page.
