Can High Detail Plastic Be Used To Make Pewter Molds?

I have a lot of experience with mold making for sterling, gold and platinum. Pewter is a new material for me. Does anyone know if the high detail plastic can successfully be used to make a pewter mold out of the black rubber? It would be a lot cheaper to make the molds directly from printed plastic rather than metal. Any insight into this would be much appreciated.

Some silicone rubbers, including RTV-101, are long lasting sufficient to capable of paintings as much as better temperatures, making mykohlscharge them beneficial for moulding metals including tin alloys and pewter. Like different mould-making materials, polyurethane mylowes rubber is appropriate for various castings inclusive of plasters and concrete.
