Because I sure wasn't. I don't get it, I'm signed up to receive Emails about "Promotions and Recommendations" and yet the only reason I happened to learn about said sale was because I wanted to check something on my actual shop page and happened to see the banner for it up top. I mean, I've just recently placed a big order so a 10% sale wasn't any good for me anyways but not being notified about it at all is really annoying, like I can understand not giving advance notice but if we're signed up for it we should at least be notified when it starts. So what's up Shapeways?
Yes, I got a couple emails about it. Maybe you should check your spam/junk email folder and add Shapeways to your whitelist.

Sometimes email sending looks random. Or maybe it's based in recent orders (or lack thereof). Four emails here: start, 2nd day, last day, last hours.
I hope not, if I've been signed up to receive Emails about promotions I'd expect to receive said emails regardless of my recent activity.
