Hi, This is my new bracelet. It is printed in stainless steel. I heated it gently with a flame, this makes it brown (probably something like bronze steel). Then I filed and sanded it to get the two colors. Pauline.
Fantastic! Did you clear coat the sanded surface to prevent oxidation? Or maybe the eventual patina will be cool too. Nice work. -S
Thanks! I didn't coat the sanded surface. It's been lying around for a couple of weeks now and already a bit oxidized. I'll wait and see. I can always sand it again and coat it if I like. Usually I don't like the shine of a coating.
