Welcome to the Round Mountain Models Shapeways Shop. We specialize in odd-ball N-Scale Models focused on Norfolk Southern and Conrail.
Our most popular offer are the CR/NS Camp Cars. Still in service on NS, these are almost all ex-CR trailers on ex-PRR F30 Flatcars. NS in fact is the last North American railroad to use camp cars and it's fleet has been massively rebuilt in cooperation with the MOW Unions. You can use these on any 50-53 flatcar, but the correct car is not available (yet) in N. Tell Rapido Models to bring their F30 from HO to N scale!!!
More accurate than the MTL resin version, over 300 of our camp trailer models have been sold! We are often asked about an HO version. Yes we looked at this, but it would be VERY expensive, like $80 without a total re-design. Sorry!
