This is a large somewhat abstract version of a dandelion. It's very cool in person, and would probalby look very interesting with designer lighting placed on it. It's a great addition to a room for someone that has everything, becasue I'm sure they don't have this yet. Check it out on youTube as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mLc6lftEFE
This model prints one entire side of the chess pieces. You will need to order this once, in one color material, and then again, in a different material, if you want both sides for a complete set.The pictures show White Strong Flexable, Alumide, and Grey Robust prints. Look closely at the Grey Robust, it's got some small artifacts left over from the printing process, so if that's not desirable, I'd recomend picking a different material. You can see a quick movie of them on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgddwntyoTc They look great sitting on my hand made checkerboard, so I'm sure you'll enjoy them too.
If you just want to create a single poker chip. Put any picture in the middle you want, and any colors around the outside you want. Fun for special amounts, or just to have around. Chip is the same on both sides. If you want to save on buying more chips with the same picture/colors then there is a separate model which allows you to buy 10 at a time, without paying for the setup cost for each chip. Just go to my store and pick that model to print and get all 10 in one order.
Inspired from the classic Möbius Strip, this design has a small "snake" that travels the path along the outside, then inside, and back again, helping illustrate the concept. The inside diameter is about 2.7 inches. Go view a video I made of the test section I just received in Stainless Steel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIEXeOSeG-8 There is a modification I need to make before it will work in steel, but the other materials should print just fine. the way the steel is finished ended up sort of welding the snake to the bracelet! :)
Please note, there is a larger version in my shop now too. The large is about 3.0 in inside diameter.
This can be used as a cookie cutter, Play-Doh cutter, or even for rubber stamping. I'm sure there are tons of other uses as well, that I haven't thought about yet. See a video of it on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgoOA82qF-Q
Coffee Tamper for Espresso machines. Sized for consumer grade machines which are typically 49 mm dia. (or almost 2 in. ) The bottom is slightly concave to provie a slightly mounded press, allowing the water and steam to flow evenly in all directions. Note the other pictures to see the cross sections of this tamper showing it "hollow" nature.
This is a very simple yet elegant spiral design. Think of a spring, and you can picture how this design is created. It's one continuous piece, top to bottom. This item will look cool and unique on your Christmas tree this year! You can also streatch is open and put things inside, like a bird, toy train, or any other item to really make this item unique!
This is a set of 10 poker chips all the same design. It's priced better per piece than getting them as singles because of the up front design costs of a co-creator model.
Inspired by the Möbius Strip concept, this is a small bracelet like piece that has a small .25in dia ball that rols all around the "path" made by the the Mobius design. The inside diameter is about 2.5 inches. Don't forget it would need to fit over your hand, not just your wrist, when measuring.
This has been sucessfully printed. You can view a short video of a small test print I did to display the cross section here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVSuuBWJ7E4
