Painter's Pyramids are used by woodworkers, etc., to support pieces of work that are being varnished, or painted and access to many sides are needed - for example to paint the front and sides of a panel. The small sphere on top ensures a non-marring point. Four pyramids are included in one order since this reduces cost slightly, rather than buying one at a time.
I recommend getting them made in SWF material.
Each pyramid is about 1.5 inches in height.
This is a Steampunk-inspired pendant I designed using two different materials printed here; Winter Red Strong and Flexible, and Antique-bronze Plated Stainless Steel. Shapeways isn't set up to sell products that combine materials yet, so if you want this particular piece please contact me. The red heart is solid except for the hole you see that will allow for a thin chain to thread through to the other side. I only made this one piece and will sell it for US$50. Shipping $5 within US or Canada, elsewhere $10. Contact gslinger at rogers dot com
A ring designed to look like flames wrapping round your finger. This one should print to 16mm diameter. I have taken all metals but silver off this model because I'm not impressed with how the stainless steel printed on my last model (little bits stuck to the surface in hard to reach areas). The silver is made in a different manner to s/steel.If you'd like this in a different size please message me here.
From Wikipedia: There are two main styles of a hamsa hand: the stylized hamsa hand with two symmetrical thumbs, and hamsa hands that are not symmetrical and shaped like actual hands.[10] Either hamsa hand can be worn with the fingers pointing up or down. The hamsa is popular as a charm most often worn as a necklace, but can be found as a decorative element in houses, on key chains, on other jewellery items.[2] Many artists use the image of the hamsa hand in jewelry, paintings, sculptures, wall decorations, and amulets. The renewed interest in Kabbalah and mystical Judaism is a factor in bringing the hamsa pendant back into vogue. In Jewish mysticism, fish are a symbol of good luck, so many hamsas are also decorated with fish images.
An earring for the fans of Doctor Who. Based on my 5cm miniatures also available here: http://www.shapeways.com/model/123277/dr_who_s_tardis__5_cm_.html http://www.shapeways.com/model/189295/tardis__simple_.html?gid=ug31952Comes with earring hook! Remember, this is only ONE item. If you want two earrings (assuming you have two ears!) then you will obviously need to order another... Note that I have only made this available in the DETAIL plastics since I feel that only these materials would be capable of picking up the level of detail in the model. I highly recommend the FINE ULTRA DETAIL to be on the safe side. Also available in Silver, but I don't know how the details will stand up.Also - the "Telephone Box" wording was removed in the past because I knew it wouldn't print in the available materials and I haven't got round to adding them back. Your earring will appear as in the above photo.
