New BSG Viper Mark 2 , supposed to be printed in WhiteDetail as parts. Needs assembly and painting ofc. I wonder how this will turn out... Oh, and it`s supposed to be an 1/72 scale model.
Update: finally got around to add some photos, they are pretty bad sorry. You can notice that the nose is parted at the cockpit due to badly cementing the pieces together :( The paintjob is very poor and far from finished, but I had no time or paint to do it with except for some water colors back then. Printing detail is pretty good, but the layering is very obvious in some places, although its mostly hidden on the shots because of the thick layer of bad painting :P (and please ignore my cats hair all over it :) )
! Important Material Notice ! : Recently some of you have tried to buy this model in WSF, Detail and other materials, but the model got rejected. I am very sorry about this, as this model used to be printable in those materials when I first offered it for buying, but since then the checking software of Shapeways got updated and rejects the model for having thin walls. Currently due to the strict Shapeways software, this model is only Printable in Frosted Ultra Detail material. This is confirmed as I have one on my desk made of Frosted Ultra Detail, with a rotating turbine.
This is a little thingy for your keychain. It is in the shape of a jet engine, a great gift for aircraft fans! The turbine inside is designed to rotate.
Material Update: someone recently tried to order this in aluminide material, and sadly it got stuck on the wall thickness check. This model is very much on the edge of printability with most plastic materials as well, but as you can see in the photo above it was printable in White Detail back in 2009-2010. If you wish to order one, please do so in some high-detail plastic material like White Detail or Ultra Detail. Thank you!
This is a little add to your keychain. It is in the shape of an engine piston with piston rod and bearing for a more unique look. Test print arrived, The piston head does rotate on the rod when ordered in white detail.
This is a little add to your keychain. The turbine inside is made to rotate, so the whole thing should "work" if you blow in one of the holes. Rotation is not guaranteed yet, I need to order one for myself first to test it.
