TFS Trains

TFS Trains is a mix of railroad history in Western Maryland, enjoying railroading, and model railroading.  The name is based on The Family Sloane for those who may want to know.

Part of our model railroading is recreating a bit of history you can hold in your hand.  ​It can take a lot of effort; research, studying ancient photos, adjusting those photos in the computer, and drawing and revising drawings of long gone rail equipment to get to the point where a model can be built.  All of this effort seems as if it could benefit others with similar railroad interests.  So Shapeways 3D printing is one way to make the fruit of this work available for others.
