Silvergence
American designer and author Karen Del Pellegrino lives and works in New Jersey. Her Shapeways shop, Silvergence, is earning a reputation as the place to go for Zombie, Klingon or Cat jewelry. Her most wanted pendants are festoons with rings or openings on both sides, through which chain or cord can be attached. Festoons usually function as the centerpiece of the necklace and Karen offers designs that enable her customers to add beads and findings to create truly unique one of a kind necklaces.

About
Silvergence uniquely describes my creative process; an intimate mingling of the modern and the ancient into an integrated whole to produce bold yet harmonious effects that deviate from standard jewelry design. There was no single descriptive word before I combined these three, divergence, emergence and silver. Trained in traditional silversmith techniques I’ve also used 21st century technological advances to handcraft one-of-a-kind art jewelry. I’m excited to explore the possibilities of 3D Printing to see where this magic will take me.
