The inner ear, a tiny bony apparatus in the skull, is responsible for our sense of balance and hearing, and makes a great one-of-a-kind gift for someone in acoustics, audiology, or music.
These very unique cufflinks are anatomically correct (scale: 100%) models of the inner ear -- the small bony organ inside the skull that's responsible for our sense of hearing and balance, and is composed of the cochlea and semicircular canals.
The two 3D printed stainless steel cufflinks are mirror versions of each other - just as the two inside the skull are, and come labeled as right and left.
These come shipped in a small gift box, and makes a great one-of-a-kind guy gift for someone in acoustics, audiology, or music.
Note: these cufflinks do not have gears on them, and 'work' very simply by slipping and angling the rod and bar through the cufflink hole. The 'rod' (perpendicular to inner ear) stretches out .9 mm before intersecting with the bar. The 'bar' (horizontal to inner ear) measures 1.3 cm in width.

A single vertebra bone, 3D printed in stainless steel, hangs from a dark silver colored chain. The specific vertebrae is (human) lumbar vertebrae # 3 - situated in the lower back in real life. Great care was taken to model and create it with anatomical accuracy (although it is just a fraction of real life size!), and to show off all the interesting and unique bony structures on this piece of the spine.
The heart is of course an organ of immense discussion, metaphor, and poetry. After all, what other organ can bring all of your body new life-sustaining blood about twice every minute? This elegant anatomically correct pendant really makes a wonderful gift.
The heart pendant hangs from an 18" dark silver colored chain. Much care was taken in 3D modeling this piece of jewelry - clearly shown are the 'great vessels', the atria, ventricles, and the major coronary vessels in delicate detail - and it has been produced very sturdily in stainless steel.
Inspired by honeycomb - both wonderfully natural and geometric - , this delicate looking pendant has a rich and antiqued look, especially when paired with the 18" bronzed figaro chain it comes with.
**This listing is for both the left and right anatomical inner ears.**
Pictured above are the lovely results in both sterling silver (shown polished) and stainless steel. Results have also been wonderful in any of the bronze/gold coatings.
