Here is a design for all you steampunk fanatics and fans of all things mechanical!!!

This is a steampunk themed desk toy consisting of a cube with 28 gears, all of which rotate in a mesmorising pattern by just rotating one of the gears. In the middle of the cube is a tray that can be used to hold paperclips and other small things. This object is 3D printed as one piece, already fully assembled when it leaves the 3D printer!

The design also comes with a stand so it can stand up on a desk and a lockable lid which is placed on the top of the cube and is locked and unlocked by rotating the gears (the lid locks at the centers of all 4 sides below the gears in the lid). Interchangeable mechanical add-ons may be designed in the future that can be put in place of this lid and driven by the rest of the cogs.

How it works...
This design consists of a cube with 28 gears, on each of 4 sides of the cube are 7 gears: 2 large outer ones that move in opposite directions, the outermost gear has handles on it so it can be easily rotated, the motion between the 2 large cogs is reversed due to 5 smaller gears set within the cube in a similar layout to a planetary gearbox to reverse the gear's direction on each of these 4 faces. Each of these sets of gears on the 4 faces are all liked through the big gear on each of the 4 faces meshing at 90 degrees with the big gear on each of the 2 neighboring sides. This means that if any one gear is spun, they all spin in a memorizing pattern.

For a smoother motion of the Geared Cube use a lubricant suitable for plastic parts, I used a PTFE lubricant from an aerosol can and this was very effective in reducing the friction.

Centrifugal Puzzle Box - This is a unique one of a kind 3D printed puzzle box that can store anything with dimensions of less than 39x39x13mm that is opened/solved in an intriguing way, by simply spinning the puzzle box on a flat surface will unlock the lid, however this is not that obvious:

On the lid of the box are six sliders of different shapes, these can slide along rails in the lid, there are also three buttons that can be pressed and released, however don't be fooled, these sliders and buttons have absolutely no purpose at all in helping solve the puzzle and open the box, these sliders and buttons are simply a distraction to confuse the user.
There is one clue towards the solution of opening this puzzle box for the user, firstly, you may have notice the numbers around the top face of the lid, these are actually coded in the format of "A=1 B=2 C=3" and actually decode clockwise starting from the number after the small circle to read "give-me-a-rapid-spin-to-unlock-my-lid", this may seem hard to notice, and it is, however I have designed an optional additional clue towards finding this clue: This 3D printed keyring (sold separately) contains embedded within it, using a special wax that is trapped within the keyring during the 3D printing process, a QR code and the word 'CLUE' above it (just to make it that bit more obvious), if the user is stuck while solving the Centrifugal Puzzle Box they can choose to reveal this clue by using an IOS device with a camera (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch 4g) to read the QR code by using a barcode reader application (tested with an app called 'Scan') reveal the text "A=1 B=2 C=3" on the device's display which should help the user decode the message on the puzzles lid helping them to solve the puzzle and open the lid.

The Mechanism -The mechanism used inside this puzzle box is a unique one and is best described in the video in the above slideshow, there are six 6mm ball bearings (not included) placed in the slots around the top face of the bottom half of the box, these ball bearings can move freely in their short channels, the lid has corresponding loops that lower into these channels when the lid is placed on. Once the lid is placed on and the box is given a shake, the ball bearings should all be at random points in their channels, some will be across these loops in the lid which will stop that loop from being pulled out thus stopping the lid being pulled off thus locking the puzzle. When the puzzle is spun, all the ball bearings travel to the outside of their channel so none are obscuring the loops in the lid meaning the lid can now be freely removed thus unlocking the puzzle.

Some excess powder from the 3D printing process may be left in the holes in the puzzle, this can be removed by just using a unfolded paperclip to losen the powder and just shake the powder out of the holes.

Please note that six 6mm ball bearings are required for this puzzle to work, they can be purchased very cheaply on eBay.
The QR code 'Clue' is sold separately here.

This is the iPhone 4 / 4s minimalistic version of the TriStand 3D Printed iPhone Cases.

So what is the TriStand? The TriStand iPhone case is a stylish, rugged, ergonomic and most importantly practical snap on 3D Printed protective case for your iPhone with flip out integrated stands; these can be used in different combinations to produce very geometrically stable stands to stand the iPhone in 1 of 3 orientations, a portrait orientation and 1 of 2 angles on both of the landscape orientations, one is great for typing, and the other is great for watching videos. The flip out stands fold flush to the case and 'snap' into place when not in use to stop the stands from opening by themselves. All this while keeping the thickness of the case at only 2.25mm (and 1.5mm at the sides).
Check out the video in the slideshow above of this case in action.

The TriStand design takes full advantage of the 3D Printing's ability to print moving parts in a single print.

The TriStand iPhone Cases are 3D printed for you when you order fully assembled in a grippy, strong, rugged and lightweight plastic polyamide material in the colours in the drop down box labelled 'Select Material' in the top right of the page.

Excess powder from the 3d printing process may make the hinges of the moving parts 'sticky' when your case first arrives but this loosens very quickly.

The TriStand iPhone case is a stylish and rugged designer snap on case for your iPhone 4 or 4s which protects your iPhone with 3 flip out hinged integrated stands while keeping the thickness of the case at a modest 2.25mm (1.5mm at the sides); these stands can be used to stand the iPhone in 1 of 3 orientations, a portrait orientation and 1 of 2 angles on both of the landscape orientations, one is great for typing, and the other is great for watching videos!

The TriStand is 3D printed in a strong and rugged Polyamide material in the colours in the drop down box labelled 'Select Material' in the top right, these materials also have a grippy texture to them. Due to the amazing capabilities of 3d printing, the TriStand is printed fully assembled, so no assembly is required.

Watch the video in the above slideshow to see the case in action and a demonstration of how to use the case.

The intelligent design uses 'ball in socket' like catches to prevent the moving parts from opening by themselves in your pocket.

Guaranteed to fit all types of iPhone 4 and 4s.

Before installation, unclick all the moving parts and move all the moving parts back and forth gently, this may be quite hard at first due to excess printing material from the printing process however this will get easier quickly, however some of these hinges are designed to rotate only 90 degrees in each direction, do not force the moving parts more than this as this can result in damaging the hinges.

To install the case, push the top of the iPhone all the way into the top of the case and then clip the bottom two corners in and push them together to ensure a good fit.

Check out the TriStand Full Case which covers the whole back of the iPhone

Make Christmas Eternal!
A Snowflake, captured and preserved in an intricate hollow star cage. The snowflake hangs from 6 loose chains - makes a great unique Christmas Tree decoration using the inbuilt hoop and looks great all year round, it is just the right size to be worn as a funky necklace if you choose to!

The material this ornament is 3D printed in is slightly flexible, this makes it incredibly strong for the purpose and size of this ornament and produces a very strong final 3D printed product, the chains within the design are also incredibly strong.

Check out the video of the 'Captured Snowflake' in the slide show above!

This design can be manufactured in no other way than 3d printing as it exploits the technology's incredible ability to trap objects within objects and create moving parts within a design.

This piece is manufactured for you in your choice of colour when you order using incredible 3d printing technology and then shipped to your doorstep.

This is a great funky pendant that can be worn around the neck by passing a string through any hole in this 2x2 cm cube. This Cubee supports a 8 sided Octahedron on the inside using 8 pillars extending from the inside corners of the cube. Could also be worn as earrings (if 2 are bought) by attaching 'Earring Hooks' to the Cubee's.

Would make and Awesome Christmas Present for anyone owning the new iPhone 5!

Here is an iPhone case for when shooting Angry Birds just isn't real enough!

Life can get a bit boring at times, however what do we carry with us more than anything: Our Phone

Using a new and innovative mechanism, this iPhone case cleverly conceals a system for shooting elastic bands for those times that you want to take your anger out on a target, or even better, a workmate. Watch the video above to see just how easy and fun this case is to use. This mechanism is cleverly designed to fold into the case and only add a small 2.25mm extra depth to the iPhone 5 when not in use, however this is completely disproportionate to the amount of fun it will give you! (A LOT!)

Check out the YouTube Video in the slideshow above for a computer generated video of the case in action!
