Charles Darwin's first ever sketch of a tree of life printed in solid silver. Each branch and minute detail of Darwin's original drawing is represented. The sketch appeared in his private notebook (“Notebook B on the transmutation of species,” 1837–1838).

Chain is NOT included, but a chain can easily be attached if you want to wear it. It comes in a soft black velvet bag.

A great gift for taxonomists, biologists, skeptics, humanists, atheists, lovers of nature and rational thought. Also a great gift for creationists, seriously, they'll love it! :)

The sketchy text on the same page of Darwin's notebook reads: "I think ... Case must be that one generation then should be as many living as now. To do this and to have many species in same genus (as is) requires extinction. Thus between A & B immense gap of relation. C & B the finest gradation, B & D rather greater distinction. Thus genera would be formed.—bearing relation."

Charles Darwin's first ever sketch of a tree of life, in the shape of an actual tree, with finches perched on the branches. Each branch and minute detail of Darwin's original drawing is represented, and each finch represents the A, B, C and D marks on his sketch. The sketch appeared in his private notebook (“Notebook B on the transmutation of species,” 1837–1838).

From a side view, the shape of the tree matches perfectly with Darwin's drawing (look at the last image for a comparison). If you look carefully, you'll notice that each finch is slightly different, and the more apart they are from each other in the evolutionary tree, the more distinct the differences are.

A great gift for taxonomists, biologists, skeptics, humanists, atheists, lovers of nature and rational thought. Also a great gift for creationists, seriously, they'll love it! :)

The bony skeletal structure of an origami paper crane. Created following the traditional crane model, for any lovers or the art of paper folding out there.

The detail is incredible, you can see textures and complex shapes even inside of the rib cage. The poor contorted crane has legs and feet, they are folded into its torso in true origami fashion. And vertebrae on the tail you say? What else did you expect?

This is a mobius strip of Level 1 or Super Mario Bros. The whole level is wrapped around itself in a single surface, and poor Mario begins and ends at the same spot every time :(

All the elements from the level are there: every mushroom, turtle, cloud and star. They are all carved out of the surface at different heights, which looks fantastic when you have a light coming from the side, and each block casts a shadow.

It's a great piece to have on your desk, or to hang from a string to let it spin around.

Endless motherf$#&ing bacon! A full color, delicious strip of bacon, twisted around itself, having only one side.

All the textures are raised and carved onto the surface, the colors are bright and clear, and the edges have a scrumptious wavy twist. The material is thin enough to be semi-translucent, and of undeniable baconness.

Disclaimer for idiots: Don't eat it.

A compound mobius strip created out of 36 interlocking mobius strips.

All segments are thin mobius strips, and they weave and interlock perfectly through the spaces left between them. Highly complex, and a headache to look at, yet it possesses an inherent mathematical simplicity and beauty.

This model is 3d printed out of a sintered vinyl plastic, which makes it very resilient and bendable. It won't break if you drop it.

I created the skeleton of a skeletal Lepidoptera. The Death's Head Hawkmoth (Acherontia atropos), seen on The Silence of the Lambs , has a skull marking on its back. I made a full human-like bone structure for the moth, with the grinning skull protruding from its back.

The model is very thin, yet sturdy and flexible. Detail level is fantastic, and the natural texture of the 3d printing process gives it a bone-like appearance that works wonders.

Yes, moths don't have endoskeletons, that's the whole point...

The design is based on the classic Celtic-style knot symbol for the World Tree from Norse mythology, Yggdrasil.

Inside the leaves you can see a small sphere of blue. If you look reaaally carefully, you could notice that the continents in the blue ball are in the shape of Pangea and not our current distribution.

Half Life 2 meets Portal. Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance's best friend, DOG, contemplating the beauty of his new toy, a companion cube. What else could you possibly want? Oh, that's right, Half-Life 2 Episode 3 would be nice...

Gabe, are you listening?

This uses the original texture maps from the game, you can even see the Lambda Half Life logo on DOG's back.

It wasn't easy! I had to remap all the textures manually, and fix all the geometry to make it printable and thick enough to support the weight. I also made most large pieces hollow, but you won't notice that at all (except in the reduced price this provided).

Low polygon Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7. I modeled him identical to the original low poly you see in the FF7 videogame (not the cutscenes version or fights version, but the playable, big headed one you actually control).

#####This is NOT an official model by Square Enix#####
I just made it myself since I couldn't find official merchandise with the low poly character.

The 3d print looks great, though the hair isn't as spiky as it should be, since color printing can't do such sharp points.

An early cosmological model of our solar system, in full 3d-printed detail. From Kepler's book "Mysterium Cosmographicum", 1596. Kepler thought that the planets orbited the Earth, each within an orbit set on a regular polyhedron. He was mightily wrong, but his design is iconic and inspiring.

All regular polyhedra are represented, in this order from the inside out: octahedron, icosahedron, dodecahedron, tetrahedron, cube. I also included the text from the page of Kepler's book, "Tabvla III Orbivm Planetarvm" and "Johannes Kepler" on the opposite side of the base.

Try coloring it! The material is porous and you can submerge it into tea, wine, etc to give it color.

Notes on Kepler's work and this planetary model

In the XVI century, the German astronomer Johannes Kepler (1571-1630) tried to find a relation among the five regular platonic solids and the six planets known in his time: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Kepler thought the two numbers were connected: the reason there were only six planets was because there were only five regular solids.

In 1596, in his work Mysterium Cosmographicum, Kepler established a model of the solar system where the five platonic solids were inserted one inside another, separated by a series of inscribed spheres. He realized that the ratios among the planets orbits' radii could match the ratios among the spheres' radii. His model, however, was not supported by the experimental data from the astronomers Tycho Brahe (Danish, 1546-1601) and Nicolau Copernicus (Polish, 1473-1543). Indeed, his model was entirely disapproved by posterior discoveries of the planets Uranus and Neptune: there are no additional platonic solids that determine their distances to the Sun. However, from his research, new solids were discovered (that, nowadays, are named after him), the perception that the orbits of the planets are not circles but ellipses, and the three laws of the planetary motion.

This is for iPhone 5 only. If you want the iPhone 4 / 4s case, follow this link.

The skeletal essence of a dead leaf, with minute details of veins in different widths. I replicated the branching straight out of pictures from dead leaves, so the pattern is extremely realistic.

All the buttons and connections are clear, the case clicks in tightly and securely.

Note: If you are worried about the stem almost touching the flash area, that has been fixed. I moved the stem farther to the right than in the model I used for the pics, so do not worry about it, it will not screw up your flash pics.
