About
Gaiam Jewellery is designed by South African jeweller, Gaia Mather-Pike. Gaia spent her childhood living in India and was inspired by fine silver detail and craftmanship. On returning to South Africa Gaia completed a four year Bachelors Degree in Jewellery Design and Metal Techniques at Stellenbosch University. She then proceeded to work as a junior designer for Rabbit Disruptive Innovations, a 3d printing company in Cape Town where she started to explore her love of symmetry with the help of 3d printing. This has started Gaia down a path of exploring symmetry, nature and beauty with the help of 3d printing technologies.
