Modern sandstone square kufic lamp shade with classic elements. Inscribed with islamic calligraphy drawn from about half a millenium ago. Original calligraphy is compiled by 15th/16th century CE Timurid Persian engineers. The kufic calligraphy reads "Mohammed, 'Ali" rotated four times. Peace be upon them. It may serve as a lampshade or as a very exquisite candle or led light holder. The white calligraphy has a thinner wall than the colored wall, so i expect light will show itself beautifully. Handle with care and dignity. Customer has the option to pick a custom color instead of black.
