Andrew has lived in Taradale, New Zealand for nearly a decade. He suffers from multiple sclerosis and lives in residential care at Rowan House. He has had a varied career after graduating from Massey University with 1st class honours in horticultural science, he became a scientist specializing floral biology and plant physiology. Following this, a period as a horticultural consultant then establishing his own company. He is the recipient of several industry innovation awards.

Current interest include 3d printing, poetry and all things colourful and beautiful.
