About

Maggie Horvath is a craft artist from the Philadelphia area. She attended the Tyler School of Art for two years; and then transferred to Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. She has her BFA in Crafts in Fine Metals and her BS in Art Education with a concentration in ceramics. In November 2015 she completed her MFA in jewelry at the Savannah College of Art and Design. During her tenure as a student of the arts Maggie has had the opportunity to experience many different crafts and fine arts disciplines. Maggie enjoys both traditional and contemporary making processes. Often combining the two in her work for a strikingly unconventional and quirky aesthetic. Her work has been exhibited on the east coast at shows including ACC Atlanta and the Smithsonian Crafts Show.
