suspended in the center of a cube made up of 12 springs is a ball supported by 8 more springs. Waited fairly and if made of a flexible material should be very interesting die.

Want to make your own die. Now you can. Get each side dyed different colours, configure the dye to prefer one side over another or get the shell made up of a different material then the sides. The options are limitless(Well 1,330,255,872 combinations if you keep to standard die numbering and do not cut the alignment tabs off.).

What you need is the frame and 6 faces. Assembled them together by pushing the faces into the frame.

Fair sides are not available individually because you can make a fair die out of the loaded sides by arranging in the order shown on the loaded faces rendering.

For the loaded dies each side can be place in 1 of 4 ways. If you want to make the die role more often to 1 side then another place the heavy side away from the number you want it to roll. Placing the weights opposite each other will cancel there effect out. Placing 4 together will shift the center of gravity 499um towards that side.

were this printed on a 4d printer it would be 8 cubes of equal size connected together so that each face of a cube is connected to another cube.

An interesting die design. carefully crafted to have a center of gravity exactly in the center of the die it will fall fairly. But the dots do not sit on sides but instead lay on spindles 90 deg out from the previous layers.

This die has been tested and found fair.

It has come to my attention that though both sides of each face can be landed on they are still the same face when looking at in the 4th dimension. so i have made http://www.shapeways.com/model/167487/4d_d24.html to correct this.

This is a shadow of a 4 dimensional D48 Die. The shape is called a hyper cube. It is made up of 8 equally sized cubes with each face of each cube connected to a face of another cube. Since it is a shadow and not actually printed on a 4 dimensional printer there is some warping of geometry and a bit of thought is needed to see the 4 dimensional shape. Obviously it is impossible to roll the die and have it land on any sides other then 5,13,21,28,36, and 44 but even without trying it ended up being a fairly waited model.

To make it possible to print you will notice that each face has 2 numbers. the number that you can read correctly is the number for the side you are looking at. The number you can not read correctly is for the cube on the inside.

Hope you enjoy this unique die.

This is a shadow of a 4 dimensional D24 Die. The sides have been numbered keeping to the rule that opposite sides must add to 25 and arranged and weighted so it can still be used as a fair 3D D6.

Hope you enjoy this unique die.
