Ethereal Maze Puzzles

3D Maze Brain Teaser Puzzles with Rolling Ball. Solve the by Rolling a Ball along a 3D matrix of rails to the Maze Exit. New 2012 Mind Teaser. Brain Fun Puzzle Mazes for Kids and Adults. Maze Puzzles $4 and up.

Ethereal Maze Puzzles are mazes that you solve by rolling a ball through an innovative new three dimensional lattice structure which forms the maze paths. The goal is to roll the ball through the Labyrinth Maze from the entrance to the exit. Start by pushing the ball into the spring loaded entrance ( it looks like a backwards “J”). Tip the maze in different directions to roll the ball along the paths through the maze. Don’t worry, if you make a wrong turn, the ball will not fall out of the maze. If the ball runs into a dead-end you can just roll the ball back the opposite way and try another path, that’s all part of this fun brain game. When you reach the exit there is a spring loaded button to press to release the ball from the maze. The exit is in a corner of the 3D maze, where you will find a bar with the little button sticking out from the side of the maze.

Each maze game come with the ball attached by a little chain link cage for shipping. This needs to be cut off and cut open with scissors and the ball will fall out. Note that each larger size maze comes with a larger ball. The balls can quickly and easily be colored with a highlighter or marker. Let the ball dry for a minute after applying then roll between clean white paper to remove excess color so it does not rub off on the maze. Paint for plastic models can also be used. The orange, green and black balls in the pictures were colored with highlighters or markers. Coloring the ball makes it easier to track in the Labyrinth maze.
See for yourself how Ethereal Maze Puzzles take maze puzzles to a whole new level of challenge and fun. With their convoluted lattice structure they can also be enjoyed as captivating and intriguing sculptural works of art.

The featured maze game puzzles are: “Zig Zag Zog” (easy), “Floating Labyrinth” (intermediate) and “Escher’s Playground” (advanced). Start out with one of these, or a pack of all tree. Two new models have been added for 2012. The new models are “Twisted Symmetry”, “Minotaur’s Castle”. I have incorporated symmetrical designs on the faces of these mazes. I have also made these models larger in size and thicker so that it is easier to paint them if you like (photos of painted mazes are found on the product pages for these mazes). Painting is not required, but makes the designs really pop out. Try one or both of these new brain fun mazes after you have mastered the featured puzzles. They are both advanced difficulty, but one of these is a little easier than “Escher’s Playground” and one is more difficult.

Show off these unique Works of Art in a quality display case. The medium size case is about $3 and is perfect for "Escher’s Playground". The large size case is about $5 and is for "Twisted Symmetry" or "Minotaur’s Castle". Use the links below to get your Display Case with Free Shipping.

Roll a Ball on Plastic Rails Inside a 3D Cube – Reach the Exit to Solve the Maze Puzzle. New larger sizes for 2012. Rolling Ball Maze Puzzle & Brain Game. Minotaur’s Castle – In Greek mythology the half-man, half-bull Minotaur lived in a 2D maze called the Labyrinth. The “Minotaur’s Castle” now gives the Minotaur an upgraded 3D labyrinth to live in. “Minotaur’s Castle” is a classical variation of a labyrinth where there is only a single path through the maze. There are no dead ends. With no dead end this maze is only moderately difficult and significantly easier than “Twisted Symmetry”, which has no dead ends. However this maze has many more turns than “Twisted Symmetry” or “Escher’s Playground” so you will need to be careful or you can easily end up back where you started. The new larger size for this maze make it easier to see inside and keep track of where you are, and which way to turn next. In addition to the larger size, this maze has much thicker rails compared to smaller mazes such as “Escher’s Playground”. Even thicker rails are used for the frame along the overall outer edges of the maze. These makes for a much stiffer maze. A symmetrical pattern has been incorporated into each face of the maze cube. You can make these patterns really pop out by coloring them. A quick and simple method is to use highlighter markers, or Sharpie colored markers. To make it a real work of art you can paint them. Use a small brush and the small bottles of enamel paint used for plastic models. Testors brand enamel paints were used for the painted models on this page. These are available at Michaels craft stores, or at hobby shops. There are many variations of patterns possible depending on which sections of the rails you color, and which colors you use – this allows you to make your maze a unique work of art. Show off these unique Works of Art in a quality display case. The large size case is about $5 and is for "Twisted Symmetry" or "Minotaur’s Castle". Large Size BallQube Maze Puzzle Display Case The dimensions of this maze is 56mm wide on each side, or about 2 ¼ inches. This is the size of a Rubik’s Cube. I added a video showing the new features of this maze and size compressions. There is another video of how the entrance and exits work, and show “Minotaur’s Castle in action. This on the page for Mix-Pack 4. You can view the first video right from this page. Just scroll up to where you see the photos of my mazes.
