Recently used in Afghanistan against ISIS, the MOAB - Massive Ordnance Air Blast, aka. Mother of All Bombs - was originally designed to replace the BLU-82 'Daisy Cutter', which was used to clear jungles in Vietnam The MOAB has been used to fearsome effect in the Gulf War and Afghanistan, both directly as an explosive, and as a psychological weapon against enemy forces. At more than 30 feet in length and 3 feet in diameter, the MOAB is the largest piece of ordnance in the American arsenal - so large that it can only be deployed by cargo aircraft.
