This is an updated heavier duty version of the simple original stamp roll holder (The Postmaster). It also holds a standard roll of 100 US stamps.  The lid screws into the base container which has a side slot to allow access to the stamps.  

In this thicker-walled version the lid mates with the container using an improved mating ring that makes everything fit together more securely.  Since the walls are firmly held in place by the lid mating ring there is less movement in the walls when handling the dispenser and removing a stamp.  While this does add material and cost it will be appreciated by the discerning stamp roll dispenser user.

The internal screw mechanism was designed to work with all of the polished and unpolished strong and flexible or versatile plastic colored materials. You may need to screw and unscrew the lid into the base a few times, slightly increasing the penetration distance each time, to remove loose powder in the screw threads. Once you do this the lid will screw on easily with a nice snug fit.
