wood grain name plate for desk

This name plate is like those old style plastic ones they used to have last century.  In the 21st century you can have one made with 3D printing, in color, with a fake wood grain pattern, and you can customize it with a name or other information.  No kidding, you can add a text string or upload an image to customize the white name plate on the simulated piece of wood.

Customizing a color model at Shapeways is still somewhat experimental but it should work best with black and white images having high contrast.
