About this Product
In the 1960's the West German Bundeswehr needed a light car (Kurierwagen) with good cross-country performance. This resulted in the Volkswagen 181, whose concept owed much to the Kübelwagen of WWII fame.
The model consists of 5 cars on a sprue..
The model is designed for and has been printed in the "detail" type materials , but is also available in other materials. Original test prints in WSF came out right, but Shapeways has now stricter standards and it has got rejected in that material, so I had to remove that option, sorry.
