This pendant is a carefully-made and anatomically accurate model of the incus -- the 2nd in the chain of 3 tiny ossicle bones that help make up our middle ear (though produced for necessity at several times life size).
All 3 ossicles (malleus, incus, and stapes) are just behind our eardrums and are the tiniest bones in the body. They are crucial for our sense of hearing as they transmit sound vibrations from the ear drum to the inner ear.
This listing is for the incus only; because of production methods (in precious metals) it's necessary to purchase each of the ossicles separately for precious metals.
