Salvage Bladeplug

As the name suggests, the Salvage Bladeplug is meant to give a rustic falling-apart-look. Loosely based on C-3PO's dangling eye in several scenes in the popular Star Wars movies, it's meant to show a state of disrepair and a glimpse at the saber's inner working. By connecting the parts with electrical wires, you can leave the insert hanging by a fraying thread, looking broken and disfunctional. Connect with metal rods however, and you create a classy reveal, showing the mechanisms that lurk inside your saber. Included with this kit is a C-shaped clamp you can attach to a thick central cable/spring. There is a cavity inside the instert that uses this construction to create a piston effect, allowing you to slide it in and out for 'maintenance'.
