Train-ferry vanTcefs, former Gbtmks 66, Diagramm E277, owned by German Federal Railway, 4-wheel van with end doors and sliding roof, built in 1964 for service between the Continent and Great Britain

  • 2 pcs weelset Graham Farish 379-412
  • 2 pcs close coupler motion link PEHO #005 (www.peho-kkk.de), combine with couplers by Dapol, Fleischmann or Minitrix, while GraFar couplers don't fit
  • 4 pcs anchors KUSWA #nf206 (www.kuswa.de)
  • 2 pcs shunter footstep KUSWA #nf205 (www.kuswa.de)
  • 2 pcs ladder
  • Spring steel wire 0.15mm
  • Bronze wire 0.3mm
  • Sheet (metal or plastic) 0,25mm x 1mm for footboards
  • 2 pcs 6mm screw nuts for ballast

Construction Manual
  • Clean the model carefuly, get best results by using an ultrasonic cleaning system
  • To protect damageable parts the roof is sprued to the bottom of the railcar body. Disjoin the 4 sprues.
  • Mount weelsets, to prevent damages to axle guide stays and brake shoes
  • Mount additional parts:
    • The close coupler motion link has a spacer, which should be removed for standart buffer distance. The short coupler can be assembled in different positions to get a closer buffer distance.
    • Two ladders habe to be assembled to each left end door
    • The anchors have to be assembled to drillholes at the corners of the car
    • The shunter footsteps have to be glued to the left of each headstock
    • Two handles have to be bend and assembled to drillholes at the corners of the car
    • Eight handles belong to the 4 sliding doors
    • Two handles where needed under the roof over the top of the ladders
    • Four arrestor hooks have to be assembled under the roof corners
    • Four handles have to be bend and assembled to drillholes under the buffers
    • Unter the left sliding door two footboard supports have to be assemled
    • Two footboards have to be mounted
    • At the operator's platforms guard railings have to be assembled
  • The car body has to be colourd in brown, RAL8012 "rotbraun"
  • The roof has to be colourd in grey aluminium
