HMS Torquay Upgrade kit. 1/500 scale. Detail replacement parts suitable for the Frog/Novo HMS Torquay kit. The kit contains a replacement Bridge. It is the later type, with the extended center section. Later raked funnel. Multiple life raft canisters. Replacement five bladed props. Twin 4.5 gun housing and barrel holders. Barrels are not included due limitations of the printing process. The existing kit barrels can be used, or fresh ones fashioned from sprue etc. A 275 Tracker Radar on a Mk6 director. Two Whalers and Launch complete with both the early and later style davits. Two Replacment Limbo Mortar's. Single Bofors 40mm Mk7 without barrel. A barrel can be fashioned from sprue or thin wire. Due to the small parts this kit is only available in FUD material, and is recomended for experienced model makers. Care must be taken removing the parts from the sprue, and while fitting due to the brittle nature of the material.
