    Hey guys,

Last week we announced that Target was the first major retailer to embark on 3D printing with Shapeways, debuting an exclusive holiday collection of customizable charms, rings and ornaments in the Target Shapeways Shop. You can read all about it in this blog post

It's awesome to see 3D printing moving more in the mainstream, and we hope that once Target start promoting their Shapeways shop, many new shoppers will come to our marketplace to buy their holiday gifts...both from Target's shop..and yours!

i'm excited because we know that once someone is shopping on Shapeways, they tend to buy from several different shops - so the more shops we have on Shapeways, the better it is for everyone...and having big brands on Shapeways (like the My Little Pony's) just means more shoppers.

The other exciting thins is that in order to create customizable products, Target is using ShapeJS, a developer tool we launched earlier this year that makes adding your personal touch to products even easier. Using this technology, Target enables you to "be the designer," truly styling products without having to open up CAD. If you're interested in using ShapeJS to customize your shop's products, try it out here.

There's also a lively discussion in the ShapeJS Forum Thread for tips with playing around with code.
