I want my model in Full Color Sandstone
If you want to have your model printed in Full Color upload your zip file and check the box ‘has color’. You will be able to order your design immediately in Full Color Sandstone from your ‘my designs’ page. However we will have to do a manual check if your 3D design is suitable for Full Color printing before we can send your order to the production facility. The models will still take only 10 working days to get to you from the moment you order them.
I want my model in Sandstone
The same procedure goes if you want to have your model printed in natural Sandstone. Just upload your model and check the box ‘has color’. Be course the model has no color information the material ‘Sandstone will become available for this model. The models will still take only 10 working days to get to you from the moment you order them.

Expectation management
Full Color Sandstone available for new uploads onlyWe can currently print models your models in Full Color Sandstone and Sandstone. However we have made the material available for new uploads only. To prevent disappointment we won’t make Full Color Sandstone available for the existing models in our gallery. They don’t contain color information and the guidelines for 3D modeling for Full Color 3D printing differ from the guidelines for the other range of materials we have available. We will manually check the existing gallery for models that are suitable to print in Full Color Sandstone and Sandstone. When checked the material will become available in the material selection menu on the order detail page.
XLA Form Infusion
Full Color Sandstone is harder then you are used to if you ever had something printed in Z Corp. We apply a new finishing technique called XLA Form Infusion. This is an automated and clean Infusion process that both hardens the models and enhances colors. It is not the regular procedure where the model is submerged in super glue and only the outer shell is hardened. With XLA Form Infusion the model is completely infused with the Formula. Full Color Sandstone will still feel a bit like fine sandpaper and is brittle. So be very careful with your models and make sure you read the tutorial so you are familiar with the possibilities and limitations before you design and print.
