About
Parakoru is 3D-printed jewelery collection, which is produced on demand via Shapeways.

Collection is released twice in a year. These little fragments of a story serve as amulets of secrets yet unfounded.
While more jewelery is released, the story fills fragment by fragment, and you may find yourself in it.

Parakoru is designed by a young Scandinavian jewelry designer Juho AsikainenOnce upon a time there was a mortal man who lost himself. As a lost person, he became a para, a faint doppelganger of himself. Others knew him by the name of Ketnelkoetl, as a dreamworld ranger, a cunning player and a restless, tireless traveler. Worn he was, and tired, since there was an curse burdening him. He knew that he had turned to a shadow of his former self and only strange artifacts reminded him of whose clothes he wore. With lost strength and no memories he started his journey towards the self he had lost. And it is known that when one starts to search for something, he’s bound to find treasures and secrets he was not looking for…

These pieces of jewelery are fragments of this journey, like relics or souvenirs, like lost and found postcards from distant lands. Unexpected treasures and secret messages.
