Lgcldesigns are Simon & Ed who met in 2007 in the bustling, energetic city of Shanghai, China. Simon is a product designer and mechanical engineer who has designed everything from off road go-karts to luxury travel amenities. Simon was Made in Taiwan but grew up in Quincy, just outside of Boston, MA. Ed has a background in marketing and has started a number of businesses in different fields. He hails from London in the UK and has lived in Shanghai since 2003. Together, we create and bring innovative and logical products to the world: solving problems and making life a little easier. Our first project, SIMPLcase for iPhone 5, crowdfunded successfully on Kickstarter in early 2013 and is now available at simplcase [dot] com. For designs that either didn't reach their funding goals or just make more sense to offer through on-demand manufacturing, we turn to 3D printing. We love how 3D printing makes product design more accessible and less intimidating. It can also be the most reasonable avenue to realize a product that might otherwise remain just a good idea.
