The goal is to develop operable semaphore signals with a reasonably scale appearance within the limits of the materials that are affordable enough that they can be widely used. Detail parts (including lighting, base cabinets, and ladders) to be assembled on metal or plastic tubing masts. Watch TrainThingz for more parts as they develop!
Lower quadrant spectacles, mechanical and battery cabinets, and concrete bases also available patterned after the Union Switch and Signal co. A (shallow) and B (deep) cabinet setups.
The blades are thicker than the prototype, but that is necessary due to material limits. The relief on the blade is to make it easier to paint, and is the minimum possible. When painting, the lenses in the front should be left unpainted. The rear of the lenses should be painted with the appropriate colors of clear paints such as the Tamiya clear colors. Complete instructions for assembly will be included when finished.
