Product Description
This model is based off of the dimensions of the preserved Boston & Providence RR passenger coach now displayed in the St. Louis transportation museum. Several early American railroads used similar style vehicles, which were for all intents and purposes enlarged stage coaches mounted on railway wheels. These coaches could be horse drawn, individually, or coupled together to form a train to be taken by a steam locomotive. A train of these coaches painted in various colors (as done by the Norristown RR, which had green, blue, sage, and maroon coaches) makes for a very colorful and captivating model train. This model takes standard 33" HO scale wheels, with 26mm pin point axles (wheels and axles not included in print). See my other listings for more 1830s era rolling stock.
