WORK IN PROGRESS
This private venture design, for a long range 'light' bomber, was optimised for range rather than bomb load and was initially rejected by the British government. Forced by necessity Bristol obtained permission to market it to the friendly countries of North America where it achieved significant success as a 'patrol' aircraft. The combination of a very long endurance with a roomy fuselage equipped with bunks and galley allows a complete second flight crew to be carried enabling the aircraft to act as an aerial cruiser in the vast American airspace.
Design from "Zeppelins and Bombers" by Patrick Koepke, used with permission. Scaled to be approximately the same size as a Vickers Whitley.
The spherical recess underneath the model is for mounting it on a 6mm BB.
