Product Description
VGN's EL-2B locomotives epitomize the meaning of "Heavy Electric." Weighing in at 1,000,000 pounds (!) with sixteen powered axels, four sets numbered 125-128 were built in 1948 at the same GE Plant responsible for giving us the famed EF-4 "Little Joe" and W-1 locomotives. The EL-2Bs had a run of 11 years before their retirement in 1959. This N-Scale offering contains TWO locomotives for a proper EL-2B set, with three pantograph mounting locations that will fit the Kato GG1 pantograph.
