the small washer/o-rings need o be filed/sanded down to about half their current thickness in order for everything to line up right. I sanded mine down to about .5mm and everything glued up just fine.
ETA: So I finally got around to assembling the links that I ordered. I didn’t use the “washers” and in its present state, there aren’t enough pins to use all of the links. Should have been two pins per set. Working on a new model that will be cheaper and have all the parts needed to make a chain the length you want it to be.
Some assembly is required. I used loctite GO2 GLUE to assemble the parts. I have not tried any CA or superglues on this material yet.
I'm going to use a small length of this to hang from my rear view mirror in my car for some decoration and reminder of my motorcycle at home.
