Product Description
I present my Simple Capped Rollerball Pen, designed to hold a Euro type rollerball refill (not included).
The pen's cap can be posted onto the tail of the pen and the pitch of the threads used are very course to allow the cap to be quickly installed and removed.
An o-ring with dimensions of around 6mm outer diameter and 1.5mm cross sectional diameter can be installed onto the pen body, just below the threaded section at the tip. This is to provide a better seal between the cap and pen body, to help prevent the refill's ink from drying out.
While the pen is designed for a Euro rollerball refill, some gel refills, such as the Pilot G2 refill should be compatible, due to it's very similar size and shape. Some fibretip refills should also be compatible.
The pen is made up of three printed parts: The body, the cap and the tail screw. All three parts are included in this model.
The hole down the centre of the pen's body may need to be hollowed out, due to unfused powder becoming trapped within it. This can be done with a toothpick or other narrow pointed object.
