Product Description
It is an amaizing experience to dip this wire model into ordinary soap water: When taking it back out you will see an interesting soap film whose boundary is the wire model. Mathematically, this is an approximation of a so-called minimal surface. These are frequently used in architecture because they minimize surface tension and reach an equilibrium. The wire model shown here produces an interesting soap film structure of planar pieces.
